Whoa, I've been a little dead.

Sorry for my huge absence everyone. Life has caught up with me recently and I've be incredibly busy with everything. I felt the need to update you all with what I've been doing.

I've been working for one. It's hard busy work but it's fine. I can manage. I've been applying for my loans and grants in regards to university. Everything is essentially sorted just a case of having everything confirmed. I've been working out quite a lot, my waist is now 27.5 inches as opposed to the 31 inches I started at. I've been booking flights to England, I'll be returning to the mainland mid August. Lastly, I've been hanging out with people a lot IRL, so that's kept me away from the keyboard.

That and I haven't been inspired as such to draw any more which is a pity. But I don't mind. I'm writing up a storm and preparing myself for university!

I have things to say.
I was given a subscription (from a lovely donor during a contest :heart:) so I felt the need to update my journal and play around with the skin a little.

In the grand scheme of things, I'm doing rather well. I've been working on an ID for here and also completing my sugar skull tattoo design. (Which has had some interest taken in it by my friends, many wanting it as a tattoo when it's complete.)  I've began sketching out my ID and also experimenting with some styles. Hopefully soon I may start accepting requests and trying to broaden my audience slightly with my drawn work.

I've been working towards getting qualifications in regards to becoming a First Aider in the Workplace, which is rather exciting. I'm honestly looking forward to not only getting that qualification but also the knowledge itself.

Not sure if you guys are aware on here but I have an unconditional offer (which I've accepted) at Aberystwyth  University. So, come October, I'll be off to Wales to study English Literature and Creative Writing! I'll try and do other things on the side such as learning to surf, practising my ukulele Kanoa and adventuring more with my DSLR. I'm really looking forward to it! My mum and I have already started preparing and buying all of the things I need for when I leave the nest and head off into the big word to study and learn.

What's Been Going On. Questions and Answers.

I've decided to make a journal post filled with fake questions people may be wondering and answers. This shall serve as a brief recollection of my life while I've been ignoring deviantART.

Where have you been for so long?:

Working really. I've worked multiple jobs while on my gap year in Northern Ireland. I've been creating in all mediums but mostly for pleasure rather than to fill up a gallery on a website. I've been on facebook to talk to a few people, mostly friends IRL. I've also been blogging on tumblr furiously. Tumblr has been my main escape. It's where I felt the most free to post and say whatever I felt like, tumblr gave me a chance to grow and expand my mind further. I'm giving deviantART another go because honestly I've missed a lot of you and I feel bad for disappearing without a word.

Gap year?:

I've been taking a gap year so I can get work experience, take courses in first aid and primarily sort my head out a little. I've been suffering a major depressive disorder for a little while now and taking this year out of education has granted me the time to work out the deep routed issues.

What now?:

I'm going to try and get re-involved with the community and hopefully avoid the negative sides of this website. I've found myself a very comfortable niche on tumblr and I'm honestly hoping to find a niche similar here too, like the one we used to have. It's a bit of an ask but I've been using this website maybe 5-6ish plus years now? Mostly on and off and through multiple accounts but still a very long time.

The New Account

Good day to you dear visitor. This is the new account for Water-Avian :iconwater-avian:. I'll be posting and submitting various things here for the foreseeable future. Give me a few days to get set up and get used to using deviantART again.

As of the last however long I've been away I've been busy with life in general and drawing/writing/creating for pleasure not so I can fill u to up an account with things. I've also been on tumblr too. Not sure who here is on tumblr and/or follows me but I'll be posting a link to my blog at the bottom of this journal post.
